Simon McIntyre

Simon McIntyre is a third generation real estate agent and learned the trade under the guidance of his father, a stock and station agent with 66 years' experience in the small town of Minyip in the Wimmera. Simon started with his father in 1977, and later worked for 10 years for Pat Rice and Hawkins, a Melbourne-based rural property sales and marketing company. He then opened his own business in Collins Street with his brother Shane, known as McIntyre Brothers. Simon's business ran for four years before he was bought out to manage the real estate business of Gippsland & Northern which was purchased by Dalgety in 1992. He was appointed State Manager for the Dalgety organisation in South Australia in 1993 and has held that role ever since. Simon has been a real estate auctioneer since 1978 and is a former board member of the Real estate Institute of South Australia. His very broad experience in real estate sales and marketing has allowed him to sell residential real estate through to pastoral country in Broken Hill, Northern South Australia and the Northern Territory.
